Linda Loughnane (nee
Jones)
Linda served from 10/06/1975 until 10/08/1984. Her maiden name was Jones. Her regimental number was Q/1011303. Linda served at Queen Elizabeth Military Hospital Woolwich, Cambridge Military Hospital Aldershot, 2 tours of BMH Rinteln and The Duchess of Kent’s Military Hospital Catterick.
Linda and I met at BMH Rinteln. I was serving with the Royal Military Police stationed in Minden. Following a whirlwind 31 week romance we married on the 24th of September 1983.
We have two daughters, Claire Louise (born in March 1986 at DKMH Catterick) and Rebecca Jane (born in November 1993).
Sadly Linda died suddenly and unexpectantly on the 2nd of May 2014.
We would welcome any emails etc from Linda’s ex colleagues. Two of Linda’s sisters, Anne and Karen also served with QARANC.
