15 March - AGM and Lunch.
27 March - Corps Day - to be confirmed.
12-16 May - Two of us are joining the Jurassic Branch on WW1 Battlefield Tour.
17 May - AGM at VSC London
22 June - Three Choirs Vineyard Tour to be confirmed
15 Sept - visit to Winterbourne Gardens with afternoon Tea, followed by committee meeting. To be confirmed.
1 November - Autumn Meeting and lunch with guest speaker Charlotte Webb – Bletchley Park.

demonstrate their skills as part of their assessments. This is always an enjoyable experience and ends with lovely samples to take home. We must have behaved ourselves because we have been invited again for May 2014.
June 4th – Re dedication of QA Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum, Sadly only three of our Branch members, Pauline Gretton, Angela Bagnato and Liz Ward were able to attend and were invited to stay for lunch after wards, luckily good weather prevailed.
Sept 7th – 3 of us joined Chester Branch and were made very welcome at their reunion at the Liner Hotel in Liverpool. We enjoyed the Beatles tour which brought back memories of times gone by! Of where we were, what we were wearing and doing.
Lyn Orfanelli and other members and our selves were able to engage in discussion about how best to engage more branch members and how best to move forward. We will also have a final attempt to visit Highgrove Gardens in 2015 in collaboration with our colleagues in the Chester Branch.

We departed Liverpool after a lovely weekend.
Autumn – Committee meeting held on the 9th Sept in preparation for our Branch meeting on November 2nd. Our guest speaker was Captain Huw Jones who gave a talk on ‘return to contingency QA led’ a thought provoking talk.
Chairman and Secretary attended The Secretary Meeting at the VSC in October. A lot of change is taking place, new web page, compliance with charities commission standards etc.
November 23rd, donning our glad rags we attended the Troop Aid Ball in Solihull, to be recommended, good food, entertainment, and a silent auction. This charity supplies grab bags for injured Soldiers in the field and at the QE Hospital in Birmingham on their return home.
Committee and Members enjoyed a lovely Christmas lunch at the College of Food, we were the last to leave!
1st December after meeting for lunch, 12 of us enjoyed the Birmingham Military Tattoo at the National Indoor Arena.
We continue to support members in care homes and those who we know have been hospitalized and thanks go to Branch members who have supported the committee in achieving this.
