D-DAY
70th ANNIVERSARY BOOK 1944 – 2014
A special 70th Anniversary Book entitled “D Day Diary - The Bigger Picture” has been written featuring interviews with veterans, diary entries written at the time that have never been published, together with never seen before photographs.
ALL proceeds from the sale of this book will go to the Normandy Campaign Memorial Fund.
The book is put together in quite a different way to previous books on D Day and the Normandy Invasion. It is in the form of a diary that starts in January 1944 and goes through to midnight on the 6th June 1944 and presented in such a way that you can either read the whole diary and therefore visualise the invasion as it happened minute by minute across all the beaches and building up as the day progresses, thereby getting the bigger picture, or you can read each individual assault group on its own to get a view from just one perspective. This novel approach will be both educational and exciting to read
This is a large book with 230 pages and many never seen before photographs.
The price of the book is £25.00 plus postage and packing.
