Calling all Schools
Tell us about your school vegetable plot! What are your students growing this year? What have they done with the crops they produced?
Enter our competition to find the best school allotment plot: all schools are eligible to enter.
What could you win?
The Winner will receive an NAS trophy and garden plaque with a set of Kings Seeds (crops that will mature within the school year).
3 runners-up will receive free NAS membership for a year.
How do you enter?
Send in 3 photos of your plot along with 300 words about the benefits of creating your school vegetable garden to marketing@ nsalg.org.uk by Monday 2 July. The winner will be chosen by our President, Phil Gomersall, SW Regional Rep Neil Dixon and Chris Collins, Head of Horticulture for Garden Organic. The winning plot will be announced in Schools Allotment Week, feature on our website and feature in the ALG magazine.
We are keen to encourage schools to grow fruit and vegetables with their students. This year we are launching Schools Allotment Week, which will be in the third week of July each year.
This Year's Schools Allotment Week is 16 – 22 July 2018.
