 TDI Churches
At the time of writing (28th Jan) our church buildings are temporarily closed again.
Whilst the Government has allowed places
of worship to remain open during this Lockdown our PCCs have taken the decision to suspend public worship for the time being as the increased rate of transmission has made it difficult to gather together safely.
The churches are still open for funerals if required. We will reopen the buildings as soon as it is safe to do so and continue
to offer online services every week on our website www.tdichurches.co.uk.
We hope you can join us as we restart
the monthly Benefice Prayer meeting on Zoom. Much as we did when we were able to meet in person, we will come together, for about 45 minutes, to pray for people and ministry across the benefice, plus matters
of local, national and international concern. Look for the link on the website or email tdichurches@gmail.com.
During Lent, from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday (17th February – 4th April) we will be following Sinclair B. Ferguson’s book, “To Seek and To Save.” Each day, in the book, you’ll be invited to read a Bible passage plus a short meditation, reflect on a thought-provoking question, then respond in prayer. More details on the website.
The children and young people are getting together too. JAMES Club (primary school age children) are having regular Zoom meetings at which they catch up, play a game, listen to a Bible story and answer some tricky questions. They meet at 9am for half an hour on most Sunday mornings (apart from family service and holiday weekends). If you would like to join in just

email Nolan at tdichurches@gmail.com to be sent the meeting link.
St James’ Youth (secondary school age) are also meeting regularly as they explore the Bible and discover why it’s so good to be a disciple of Jesus in our contemporary culture. If you are a young person who hasn’t already joined in with what they are doing, then just email Jason Royce via tdichurches@gmail.com to find out how you can get involved.
Denford Holy Trinity Church
Sadly restrictions are preventing us from following our normal pattern of services. However, we are looking into the possibility of opening the Church, once a week,
for private prayer. We need to do a risk assessment process first. If it happens, we will notify you, via flyers or the Denford Facebook page.
Weekly services can be found online at www.tdichurches.co.uk
Christmas Tree Festival
Donations, received from our very generous visitors, amounted to £141. This money has been sent to Accommodation Concern, a charity based in Kettering, dealing with the homeless. THANK YOU!!
If rules change and a service will be possible we will, again, notify you via flyers or the Denford Facebook page.
