The things a President does in
the name of horticulture
Had a lovely time at Horticap, Harrogate. Guess who I was?
For those who don't know, Horticap
is a horticultural organisation with a nursery, adventure garden, tearoom and external horticulture services, catering for 60+ students with physical and learning difficulties.
Their nursery is well worth a visit and is located opposite RHS Harlow Carr. Harrogate
Bluecoat Wood Nurseries at Otley
Road in Harrogate is where suitably qualified staff and a team of volunteers, provide adults with learning and other disabilities, training in horticulture, allied crafts and rural skills. The garden, wildlife area and shop are open to the public every day from 10am until 4pm (the tearoom is open until 3.30pm).
