HULL SEA CADETS – TS IRON DUKE
VISIT TO MFV FRANK BONEFAAS
We were delighted to receive an invitation from our friends at the North Atlantic Fishing Company to visit the Frank Bonefaas berthed at King George Dock, Hull.
The ship itself is huge and it was fascinating
to learn that the work process involved catching/ freezing/processing and then storing the fish ready to be boxed up and dispatched at the end of the trip.
Gone are the days of sorting the fish by hand, everything is done automatically. We went on the Bridge and were faced by a bank of screens overlooking the operation.
The crew were very helpful and on hand to answer questions.
