Close examination reveals a mature eucalyptus tree (typical of those planted by the British in the early 
colonial period, and the only one in the area), a stand of smaller pine trees, and some shattered stones 

overlying a single grave in its northern corner, nearest the road. The grave itself appears undisturbed.
