WHAT’S ON
In and Around Thrapston
Four Seasons with a twist at Pilton Church
Pilton All Saints & St Mary will continue its
popular concert series of classical music with
another performance from the well-known
harpist, Eleanor Turner at Pilton on Friday 30th
May. She will be accompanied by two equally
distinguished musicians, Clare O’Connell
(cello) and Nathalie Klouda (violin).
The unusual twist in their presentation
of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons will be the novel
way in which they will perform each season
interspersed with music from other Baroque
composers, such as Kapsberger, Dietrich
Stoeffken, Nicola Matteis, Jacques Gallot, Marin
Marais, John Eccles and Albinoni. These three
talented musicians have extensive international
as well as national experience.
Clare O’Connell founded and curates Behind
the Mirror – a personal series of intimate
chamber music in Berkhamsted, for which she
commissions new works from contemporary
composers. www.clareoconnell.com
Natalie Klouda is a violinist and composer
based in London. She has performed in major
venues across Europe and the USA. www.

Eleanor Turner lives in Stamford and is a
passionate ambassador for the harp and its
music. She has been a regular performer at
Pilton. www.eleanorturner.biz
So do come along on Friday 30th May to
appreciate the twist and decide whether you like
the way in which Clare, Natalie and Eleanor’s
arrangement differs from how the Four Seasons
are usually performed.
To be sure of a seat, please book tickets @ £18
each in advance from ctreffgarne@gmail.com.
All proceeds from this concert will go towards
