National Inter Service Cadet Rifle Meeting where Cadet Sgt Burke and Cadet LCpl Arden received a well-deserved Gold Medal. Both events were watched carefully by a number of National Talent scouts who have already identified a number of our cadets with the potential to move forward to further training and support with the possibility of one day shooting in the Olympics.
“This is yet another outstanding performance, by our cadets, who have again represented Shrop- shire ACF at a National competition and been rewarded for demonstrating their excellence. Their commitment, combined by the outstanding support they have been given by the RSMI and other Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs), is commendable!” said the Commandant, Colonel Newbrook.
After completing her appointment as the Lord Lieutenant Cadet for Shropshire, Cadet CSM Chlöe Edwards was entered into this years’ CVQO Westminster Award. After a tough National selection process she took part in a residential week in Somerset with just 40 other cadets before being
