         The Rifles Office North
The office has remained busy throughout the year aided by RIFLES assets in the North. A special mention needs to be made to Capt Paul Kelly and his team who provided inval- uable support and for their patience in putting up with many short notice requests that began “Is there any chance that ... “.
At the start of the year we had responsi- bility for Yorkshire and the Midlands but by
the end we had returned the Midlands to the Shrewsbury office and gained the North East. Change it would seem is considered good for the soul.
With the renewed interest in veterans shown by local councils the office is ensuring as many links as possible are being formed to assist riflemen past and present.
