With the vaccine roll-out progressing, surely brighter days are on the horizon...
By the time this issue drops through your door, we pray that lockdown is coming to an end and we can all look forward to a brighter time with a little more freedom.
In this issue I’m delighted to say that we are able to announce our first Oundle Life Local Hero - they have received a beautiful planter
of Spring flowers and their certificate. To find out who it is turn to page 22. You will also find details of how to nominate your Local Hero too.
For all of you who have spent lockdown in the garden, you may find that you need a little help with those troublesome backs and knees. Oundle Osteopaths have a swanky new abode on Stoke Hill where they are ready to treat your ailments (page 20).
After taking a peek through the town’s windows last issue, this time Joe Croser is concentrating on what makes Oundle ‘one of the finest small towns in the country’. Who knew why Oundle has enjoyed almost time- warp levels of preservation and conservation? I certainly didn’t, but Joe shares with us his incredible insight into the town’s cherished townscape (page 10).
