The home of friendly pampering...
Claudia Herbert opened Indulgence in 2012 to bring a boutique salon to the area, which offered all aspects of hair and beauty in a comfortable and friendly environment. She also has a passion for interior design which is very clear when you walk through the door.
What made you choose Thrapston?
Thrapston is my home town and I felt like the High Street needed a boutique salon that people could just drop into and feel welcomed.
Favourite therapy available? We offer such a wide range of treatments and each therapist has a different speciality so its hard to choose, but if I had to pick I would probably say LVL lashes.
What is the best thing about your job?
Meeting new people every day and being part of the community is one of the best things about having the salon. We get so many people come through the door from all different walks of life.
How have you seen the High Street change?
Since covid people are more dedicated to supporting local businesses which is great to see. Thrapston has so much to offer, it’s brilliant that everything is here on our High Street.
Anyone famous popped in? We had the TOWIE star Lucy Meck open our salon in 2012, she was so lovely!
What’s your best seller? Our best selling product in the salon has to be Goose Lashes, a premium range of strip lashes made from 100% faux mink.
You have £10 to give to charity, who do you choose? We donate gift vouchers all year round to local schools, events and charity events.
Most challenging moment? Our most challenging moment had to be the fire we had in the salon in January 2016. It was a horrible time for the girls and I. We had to refurbish the
