Food and snacks are probably the greatest bonus for morale; and crew who can cook soon become very popular. As does the victualler. In every port one of the crew is responsible for provisioning the yacht for the next leg. Securing the right stores on board really matters; and running out of tea bags for example, would be deeply unpopular.
