On Sat 29 Jun 19 twenty members of the RAPTC congregated in Salisbury city centre prepared to march the city’s streets in celebration of Armed Forces Day.
Capt (MAA) Darren Taylor led the RAPTC contingent through the march with fantastic support from the public on what can only be described as the hottest day of the year. Together with the RAPTC an additional 1200 personnel from all three services paraded the city’s streets, followed by various vehicles and marching bands.

their families and friends. Salisbury’s event was delightfully attended by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, Princess Anne and the Defence Secretary Penny Mordaunt.
Hudson’s field hosted the weekend’s entertainment which was visited by thousands of personnel from across the country. Spectacular events including a Red Arrows flypast, parades, military bands, aerial displays from the British Army’s Parachute Regiment, unarmed combat demonstrations by the Royal Marines and even a performance from the Kaiser Chiefs.
