RECIPROCAL CLUBS – THE ROYAL LYMINGTON YACHT CLUB
The Royal Lymington Yacht
Club aims to be successful on the water and friendly and welcoming ashore.The lifeblood of any yacht club is the shared enjoyment
of its members in getting afloat often with family, friends and competitors.
The Clubhouse on Bath Road in Lymington is a short walk from the centre of town and its many restaurants, pubs and shops, as well as the award-winning “Charter” Market on Saturdays.
In a normal year, the Club runs over 200 days of organised sailing, around 400 races and more than a dozen events, which can attract up to 800 entrants. The regular
cruising calendar includes a wide range of UK and international events throughout the year for motor and sailing yachts organised by the Club’s Cruising Division.
The Club has active cruising, racing
and social programmes. All types of craft, including paddleboards, dinghies, small and large keelboats, to RIBs and motor cruisers are owned and operated by Club members.
