GIN’S MOST FREQUENT VISITOR!
Yes, you have probably guessed that it is the seal. Already the star of many RSYC Facebook posts and videos. It has probably had its fifteen minutes of fame many times over!
There is much debate as to what gender
the seal is.Yet to be determined. Despite its numerous social media appearances, it still does not seem to have been given an official name. On a more serious note it is good to see that there are still seals thriving on the Beaulieu River.
Many of you have been lucky to see
it judging by the photos I have received. Most of the time its appearances are solo, swimming up to the Clubhouse or basking on the bathing platforms of members’ boats. However, once or twice it has been spotted with a mate.
I am still waiting to see it. Maybe I will get lucky next time I am round at Gins!
