Falklands War –
Service of Commemoration

The Ship’s Company attended the Falklands War Service of Commemoration which took place in Hull Minster on Sunday 28 April 2019. This was a very well attended service with Admiral Lord West GCB DSC PC inspecting the Guard of Honour.

During the Service there was a special job for two of our Junior Cadets – they carried a wreath for Charlie (The War Dog) at the request of Major (Ret’d) Phil Jones MBE.
After the Service there was a Parade to the Town Docks Memorial, where wreaths were laid
in memory of all those who died in the Falklands War.
