P. 3

 FOREWORD
No doubt by the time readers have reached this point they will have noticed that the magazine has gone through its own review and has emerged looking brighter and considerably different. It is intended that the changes enhance the look of the magazine and bring it up to date with appeal to readers of all ages, from the most junior cadet to the more senior member. Please do let the Editor have your feedback on the new look
as it will help for future editions as the magazine moves forward.
I am sure that the majority of you
will be looking forward to your annual camps, wherever they may be this summer, from locally in Yorkshire, to the provinces or even overseas if you are lucky enough to have been selected for expeditions or camps. Do remember to send in your stories as they will be of great interest to all. In addition, do also spare a thought for the hard working
volunteers and permanent staff of all three services who make your camps possible. The time and effort they all put in is often taken for granted so please do thank them when you are attending camps.
Please continue to send, high quality stories and pictures in for the magazine, which makes for excellent reading material, not just around Yorkshire
and the Humber, but nationally. A plea though, do look closely at the quality
of the pictures being sent with stories; many have been rejected as they of poor quality or content and would detract from what would otherwise be good contributions. Keep sending your stories and do please note the copy dates as shown on the next page.
