Your NVS Branches and District Associations
In an effort to help with awareness and streamlining going forward please refer to the map that defines the post code areas assigned to each Branch. This is to help our Branches & officers to know where to link a new member with when they join
and for you to easily see this. Historically, for your information, there are boundaries between branches that have changed back and forth, that’s fine and we are leaving any previous locations and members as is. (e.g. if you are currently a Midlands Branch member but notice on the map that your postcode is assigned to the Southern
HS
Branch, that’s OK your details won’t be changed). Of course, you may have an individual preference as to which Branch you are a member of and that’s also still OK.
The numbers highlight the location of our District Associations to help you know where they are as you may be in one Branch,
but live closer to another Branch’s DA’s. Remember, you are invited to attend any DA meetings and events throughout the country, so make sure that you take a look at all the Branch sections near the back of the SV Magazine to see what’s going on near you.
To give you an insight into what some of
our DA’s are up to in the next few months, please take a look at the information table
to see the wide range of varied talks and events on the go. I would add that where there is an event that includes a display/plant sales etc, the DA’s are always looking for your support and help, whether it’s providing a few spare plants, giving some time at the stand or helping setting up a display, the more the merrier. Also, if you would like to assist a DA by giving a talk, please just let them know.
