to get projects finished or cars back on the road too. For example, the Matra which had been languishing in our garage for 6 years has now been recommissioned by QPrep in Oundle and has been at every meet.
Tom Walbank, one of our founder members and the other organiser, put on a fabulous evening drive out, following a beautiful route locally and again ending at the Falcon. In the near future Tom is organising a trip to Caffeine and Machine.
We have been able to come together as a
club to support one of our members: Simon Hadman. Bradley, Simon’s son, passed away in June. Club members gave generous prizes to a raffle in Brad’s name. Brad’s family have brought his stunning car to our meet, and we are planning to hold an event celebrating his love of cars, in his memory next year.
One of our biggest aims was to get like- minded people together, I think that’s beginning to happen. People can use the Facebook club site to ask if anyone fancies going to a show or local events, connect with the many local car- related businesses in the area, or ask for advice.
Here’s to many more club events in the future!
