Chairman’s Report – Cllr Karen Draycott
If you have recently moved to Thrapston, you are all very warmly welcome.
We have many and varied facilities
and community groups for all ages. If you need information relating to our community provision, please call into Thrapston Town Council office (at the junction of Oundle Road and High Street) Monday to Friday during the mornings.
If this is not convenient, we are planning on holding two open surgery sessions for new residents. The dates and times are as follows:
Wed 19th February at 10:00 to 12:00 Wed 19th February at 7pm to 8:30pm
These sessions will be held in Thrapston Town Council offices. It is not required to make an appointment. I plan to be present at both sessions with other Councillor colleagues.
Please look out for our forthcoming events, these are advertised on our website, Facebook, Jigsaw community magazine and noticeboards. It is now possible to purchase tickets for our events by card through the office.

are all open to the public to attend. If you wish to speak at any of the Council Meetings stated above, please contact our Clerk. Details are available on our website.
Advance notice of Town Awards
Tuesday 14th April will see Thrapston’s Annual Town Meeting at the Plaza. As part of this meeting the Town Awards will be presented to local residents to mark their significant contribution to the town of Thrapston. Forms will be available from the 1st February for you to nominate someone for this. Further details will be in the next edition of Jigsaw, on Facebook and in the office. So get your thinking caps on!
