Waite (Northamptonshire Regiment). A further 15 members are recorded in the Thrapston Role of Honour as having enlisted. Almost certainly, many others took part in the conflict.
The club continued after the war, although without the previous success. This picture above dated to the mid 1920’s shows the start of a local race (Thrapston District Historical Society).
The club colours were gold on green. A variation on their club badge has formed the basis of our Thrapston Heritage logo, shown at the top of this article.
I produced a 32-page Thrapston Heritage booklet in 2011 about the early years of the Harriers, 1907 to 1914. If you are interested, I still have just two copies left priced £3.50.

Hall at 7.30pm. I will be the speaker, my subject being the old pubs of the villages surrounding Thrapston – Aldwincle, Clopton, Denford, Islip, Lowick, Slipton, Sudborough, Thorpe Achurch, Twywell and Woodford.
