Scope of works
• Consumer Unit replacement :
• Confirm/identify all circuits & number of devices connected into the existing consumer unit.
• Disconnect and remove the existing consumer unit.
• Install 1 no. 14-16 way metal-clad consumer unit with RCD/RCBO protection.
• Carry out all the necessary dead testing.
• Connect all circuits (unless there is a fault/non-compliance within a tested circuit) into the new consumer unit
• Carry out all Earth loop impedance & RCD tests.
• Complete all certification.
• Additional socket outlets within the office area :
• Utilise the existing AC tray to run power cables on.
• Install 13 no. surface mounted twin 13 amp socket outlets.
• All cable drops to be housed in black pvc conduit and secured to the wall with metal conduit
saddles
• Carry out all relevant testing and certification
Exclusions
• No provisions have been allowed for : All making good/repairs, sealing off holes or fire stopping.
• No provisions have allowed to provide temporary power or light whilst carrying out works.
Clarifications
• All works have been allowed to be carried outside normal working hours (8am - 6pm Monday - Friday)
• No provisions has been allowed for any interruptions, delays to works (including access to working areas).
• No provisions have been allowed for any associated works with respect to faulty or non-compliant wiring which may come to light when carrying out electrical testing.
• No provisions have been allowed for any main protective bonding or supplementary bonding.
• Whilst carrying out the electrical installation works, Rose Electrical will not accept any liability for
any accidental loss of lighting or power within the building.
• Whilst carrying out electrical tests on the fixed wiring within the electrical installation, Rose
Electrical will unplug/disconnect sensitive electrical equipment (in certain circumstances we may need to exclude certain circuits from 500V insulation testing), Rose Electrical will not accept any responsibility for any accidental damage caused to sensitive equipment.
