EYE INJURIES CAUSED BY ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
Exposure to the sun, glare from a welder’s torch and sun lamps can cause this type of injury.
It could also affect both eyes.
Treatment
• Cover the eye with a sterile eye dressing
• Take them to hospital if you are able to transport them. Failing that, call for an ambulance immediately
