burg, VisiConsult Sales and Marketing from Northern Germany that
boasts more than 25 years’ experience in the Automated Defect
Recognition
Title of Presentation: Automated Defect Recognition in Digital Radi-
ography: Basics, Applications, and Implementations
Meeting Summary: The presentation was both educational and fun,
it incorporated videos that demonstrated the automated defect
recognition technology. The students as well as the radiography
engineers that came were completely engaged in the presentations
and asked many insightful questions.
Pacific NW Section Building Connections: To further our connec-
tions with other members and NDT students, we now meet before
every meeting at ACME Bowling and Billiards (starting at 3:30PM) to
shoot pool and have fun making new friends. 11 people showed up
and everyone had a great time shooting pool and eating chicken
wings and fries!
