Speaker, Company Affiliation, Professional Title: Sasha Matison, JobWor-
thy™ CEO. JobWorthy is a gap bridging intervention program that was devel-
oped by Sasha Matison after he noticed a substantial skills gap while inter-
viewing candidates for his teams at Amazon.com and CA Technologies. He
was inspired to build a system to help bridge the skills gap. Sasha believes in
the unique role of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to promote
the unbiased merit-based development of the future workforce. He graduat-
ed from Technion, The Israel Institute of Technology, and spent over a dec-
ade building enterprise-class software products at Netegrity (acquired) and
CA Technologies prior to founding JobWorthy.

Title of Presentation: Overview of the JobWorthy program used at Clover
            Park Technical NDT College. https://www.linkedin.com/in/sashamatison
Meeting Summary: JobWorthy is a cloud platform that transforms the way
colleges engage with industry. Colleges use the platform to create competen-
cies, a.k.a. terms that hiring managers use to describe the specific
knowledge, skills and abilities they seek in a candidate. Employers then input
talent needs in their own words and instantly see relevant competencies
generated by JobWorthy’s state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI) engine.
This means that deans and instructors now have the unprecedented privilege
of having an accurate picture of how their students qualify for internships
and jobs as they progress through their study. JobWorthy was founded Janu-
ary, 2016. JobWorthy has been very successful at Clover Park Technical Col-
lege and Sasha gives much of the credit for this success to Richard Hines,
Instruction Designer for the Mechatronics Program. Richard played a key
role in getting JobWorthy adopted by the Mechatronics Program.
