This year Truck-Lite are sponsoring Alex Parpottas at Rigid Industries Racing UK who will be
competing in various races and events in a Can-AM X3 xrs off-road vehicle. The AWDC (All
Wheel Drive Club) kicked off their annual Safari Championship for off-road vehicles in April
this year which took place in Aberbeeg, Wales. Alex had a brilliant start and managed to
grab second in the overall standings after race 1!

Intro:
Alex has a history of rallying under his belt having
competed from the young age of 14. Alex found his feet in both the
British Rally Championship and FIA ERC junior championship in the
r2 class back in 2014 scoring many podium finishes. This year Truck-
lite Europe Ltd + Rigid industries will fully support Alex in his pledge
to prove the 2018 Can-Am x3 xrs in some of the best competitions in
the UK and Europe.
The Safari Championship is home to many difficult off-road routes,
with steep inclines, plenty of jumps and dangerously narrow routes
surronded by trees. Alex has conquered a number of iconic courses
so far, including Aberbeeg and Crickhowell in the Welsh countryside,
and Minehead in Somerset. Following Round 3, Alex posted:
