3. B-check:
- Is done approximately every 750 flight hrs (3-4 weeks)
and consist of A-check plus protective maintenance such as lubricating parts to ensure it is not faulty.
4. C-check:
- Is done approximately every 3,000 flight hrs (15 months)
and consist of both A and B checks plus repairing of components, testing important internal mechanisms and also a flight test after the checking is done.
5. D-check:
- Is done approximately every 20,000 flight hours (6-8 years)
and consist of A, B and C checks as well as structural inspection of the inside of the aircraft. Everything inside the aircraft such as seats, toilets, cockpit and furnishings are removed for careful inspection!
