departure of flights. This area handles baggage related activities.
What are some of the things they do? - Baggage weighing, tagging of bags
- Sortation of bags
- Baggage screening
- Transport baggage from terminal to aircraft and vice-versa
- Load and unload baggage
- Transfer baggage to claim belts
- Handle transfer and ensure they reach the departing aircraft
on-time
- Ensure transfer baggage are not mixed up
- Trace lost baggage
- Provide Early bag check-in services
- Ensure bags are not damaged
