Roles:
- Also known as the commander of the air- craft.
- Has the authority and responsibility to en- sure
the safe and efficient conduct of flight operations assigned.
- Execute all technical duties and procedures required in the appropriate operations man-
uals.
- Responsible for the care, comfort and safety
of passengers from time of embarkation to time of disembarkation.
- Responsible for safety of the aircraft from time he signs the airplane papers until the airplane is committed to the care of the responsible engineering personnel or by another commander.
