Airports are built with facilities to serve aircraft, passengers, cargo and vehicles. It also has a control tower which is located nearby. An airport is divided into two areas, landside and airside.

Landside is open to the public, while the airside is not. One needs an airport pass in order to enter the airside, as the access is strictly controlled.
