Landside has two components, terminal building and access road. The terminal building consists of passenger facilities, like check-in, gates and holding rooms. Access roads are roads that lead to the terminal. It is often used by vehicles to move to or from the airport.  landSIDE    Terminal Building Access Roads     Terminal 1    ACCESS ROADS The airside consists of the airspace and airfield. As we have already learnt in Chapter 1, airspace is the area of atmosphere above a country that belongs to them. It facilitates the manoeuvring of aircraft when it is in the air, during cruising.
