FLIGHT OPERATIONS
2. Flight Procedures and Training Department What do they do?
- Develop and maintain operating policies, procedures and standards for the airline fleet
- Conduct flights operations training for crew and staff
3. Flying Department
What do they do?
- Ensure pilots meet and maintain the competency standards
required by the airline and the CAA
- Operate the Flight Control Centre (FCC)
The FCC’s main task is to ensure that the airline’s services
operate with little disruption or delay. If flights are delayed, they are to reschedule with little inconvenience caused to passengers and of a an acceptable cost level.
There are 4 responsibilities of the FCC and they are.. 1. Flight Dispatch
2. Aircraft Performance
3. Flight Watch
4. Crew Scheduling.
