What is the purpose of operations?
- Complete published airline schedules
- Maintain highest safety performance at reasonable cost - Maintain all ground and air equipment
- Monitor performance to meet all regulations
What is the focus of operations?
1) Facilitate passenger check-in and boarding, cargo loading.
2) Transport passenger and cargo by aircraft to their destinations.
3) Facilitate passengers and cargo leaving the aircraft and airport.
4) Properly maintain and check aircraft to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.
OPERATING AN AIRLINE
Operations of an airline can be divided into 3 key areas.
They are Ground Operations, Flight Operations and Maintenance and Engineering.
