Recent national tragedies remind us that the risk of an active shooter is real. An active shooter incident can happen in any place at any time. Because active shooter situations are often over within 10 to 15 minutes, individuals must be prepared both mentally and physically to deal with an active shooter situation.
Taking a few steps now and mentally rehearsing what to do can help you react quickly when every second counts.
