Lady是2月底調查案件通報帶回來的狗狗，當時她是被飼養在菜圃裡，她的「家」就是一個小籠 子。雖然前飼主有給籠子周圍簡單圍一下，她過的還是日曬雨淋的日子。 協會帶回獸醫檢查的結 果:Lady 全身毛打結，有心絲蟲，右前腳關節移位，右前腳有個原因不明的開放性傷口，傷口旁 邊大拇趾的部分骨頭都被細菌吃掉了!右前腳那個傷口，經過超過一個月的治療，已經癒合得差不 多。Lady 現在由中途家庭照顧，心絲蟲的治療也進行了一個月。 Lady大概3歲，個性安靜親人很喜 歡抱抱摸摸;很穩定，但是對人的佔有慾比較強，她比較適合獨狗家庭(沒有其他寵物)。因要配 合心絲蟲治療需要定期回診, 送養地區希望以大台北地區為主。
Back in February we rescued a miniature schnauzer that was kept by her owner in the middle of a vegetable garden, we named her Lady. She was kept in a small crate, which was covered by tarp (supposedly to keep her "safe" from the elements). Supposedly, her owner only goes to visit and feed her two times a day. When our inspectors found her we noticed that there was an open wound on her front leg, it was bloody and covered with maggots and dirt. Our inspectors took her in, brought her to the vet for a full check up and found that Lady has heartworms and that her front right leg was dislocated. After a few weeks of treatment Lady's wound on her right front leg has healed and she has started her heartworm treatment. She is now ready to look for a permanent family! Lady is a sweet 3-year-old female dog, very friendly with people, but she doesn't like to share her human with other dogs or cats, so we are looking for a family with no pets. She is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, so regular visits to the vet’s is required, we are hoping her new family will be in the Taipei or New Taipei city area.
