AVENIDA BALBOA
Balboa Avenue is the most modern and broad gauge of Panama City. It has six road lanes, a central island and two jetties. It is approximately 3.5 km long and is located along the Pacific Ocean, so it is one of the biggest attractions for real estate development in the city.
Along the avenue lies one of the main financial centers of the city. The route is connected to the South Corridor across the bridge of the Slaves, and to via Israel by the bridge Paitilla. Its traffic is estimated at 75 000 vehicles day.
It was completely remodeled and expanded in late 2009 with the opening of the coastal strip, becoming a tourist attraction and important meeting point for the city of Panama.
