Worried about training your catering staff? We believe that training is key to delivering a successful service.
As a Highfield approved centre, we train all your catering staff to Level 2 Food safety in catering and also provide in-house training. This can be delivered either face-to-face or online, whichever is best suited to your school.
Our consultants are experienced chefs and caterers who will assist your team with hands-on cooking skills and service marketing ideas. CMC will also provide hands-on support to train your staff in the preparation and delivery of the new menus and service when it is taken in house, so that they feel confident in what they are doing. As well as your catering team we will work with your management to ensure that the TUPE transfer to staffing ratios are correct for your school.
Through our in-house training , we will ensure your staff are aware of all the legislative requirements placed on you as a school in respect of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), Information Labelling Regulations and the School Food Standards. We will also guide and advise you to ensure that you are compliant in all other aspects of Environmental Health. Our training can be delivered face to face or online to suit your school’s needs.
