Solstice Staff selected “Lucid” as this year’s theme. The word lucid brings to mind rationality, clarity, and dreams. Solstice
aims to reflect this definition through fluid movement, opalescent qualities that reflect vibrant quality of dreams, and sudden precision. Lucid encapsulates a variety of personal experiences, from the subjective and fantastical to the objective and clear-cut. Though the works in this magazine were not chosen to fit the theme, the concept of “Lucid” is
the clarity and expression of an artist.
