  Detecting
the smallest displacements
Three-quarters of Japan’s terrain is mountainous and the plains have unstable ground. Due to high rainfall, an average of 1,000 landslides occurs every year causing enormous human and financial loss.
Vayyar sensors can be placed in remote areas that are prone to landslides, detecting at the millimeter level “displacement” of land and bridge structures. At that point, alerts can be sent and the areas can be evacuated.
