On behalf of our entire staff, we would like to welcome you as new family members to Tarbiyah Elementary School! It is with great honour and much enthusiasm that we have been an Islamic educational institution in Milton since 2013. Much planning, construction and hard work has gone into preparing for another successful school year.
Let me begin by introducing myself! My name is Jannah Sauders, the principal at TES since 2013. I am thrilled to welcome you to the 2018-2019 school year and I am looking forward to working with you.
Tarbiyah Elementary School (TES) is committed to inspiring excellence in our students' education, character and personal conduct. We believe that in order for education to be most effective and beneficial, it requires a joint effort and collaboration between school staff, parents, students and the community. The home and school alike are a child’s primary environment for learning and building Islamic character. It is our sincere hope that, insha Allaah, all of us, parents, teachers, and staff will work together to foster in our students, an eagerness for learning and an appreciation for quality Islamic education.
At TES we are constantly improving our teaching methodology. We motivate our teachers to provide a nurturing and fun atmosphere of high academic standards and Islamic values. At the same time, encourage students to be creative, curious and critical thinkers. We encourage each child to develop in their special field of interest so as to best showcase their particular skills and type of talent to ensure that the children grow to their full potential.
We are confident that bi ithni Allaah, TES will be a guiding light, guiding the destiny of its students and radiating compassion as it soars high in its pursuit of academic excellence, leadership and Islamic code of conduct.
As you settle in, you will be receiving documents from the school office and the classroom teachers. Please be sure to check your child’s backpack as well as the TES Remind App. Please know that we have an open-door policy and welcome any opportunity to meet with you. We are looking forward to our collaboration in providing a safe and nurturing environment as well as a challenging and diverse curriculum.
We pray that Allaah Subhahahu wa ta’ala grants us guidance and rewards all our efforts into making this school a blessed second home to our students and staff.
