Paid Time Off (PTO)
Burke offers generous paid time off benefits to eligible employees. These benefits come in the form of Paid Time Off (“PTO”) and
Long Term Illness (“LTI”) banks, which support employees with pay continuation when properly used. PTO allowances will vary
by position and will be discussed at time of hire. PTO is a flexible benefit that may be used for
short duration illnesses, vacation, or personal needs. PTO should
be scheduled and approved in advance whenever the need to use PTO is foreseeable. LTI is available in the event an employee has an illness or injury that lasts longer than 7 calendar days.
