As we have for the past four decades,
we continue to provide services to ColumbiaDoctors, the largest faculty practice organization in the Northeast.
Today, we employ approximately 1,460 support staff. Our employees are highly skilled clinical and administrative healthcare professionals who demonstrated resolve and courage during an immensely challenging last two years.
OUR HISTORY
Our Service Corp. Team
The 61st Street Service Corporation was
formed in July 1982 to service one clinical practice site at 38 East 61st Street named “Columbia- Presbyterian Eastside.” This new private practice thrived and expanded during the 1980s.
Expansion to a new location occurred on March 18, 1994, to 16 East 60th Street, a new 94,000 square feet luxurious practice site off Madison Avenue and 60th Street. In 1999, the Service Corporation decided to expand its services and employee population to support the future of ColumbiaDoctors, which now boasts more than 100 locations.
