The name of the the corporation is the the King William Association The King William Association is a a a a non-profit corporation The duration of the corporation shall be perpetual The purpose for for which the the King William Association is formed includes the the following:
1 The corporation is organized and shall be operated for educational recre- ational and and cultural purposes especially the presentation and and dissemination of of of of understanding of of of of the the early life and and cultures of of of of the the city of of of of San Antonio Texas and the Southwest as reflected in home life government religion education industry (work) and and the arts and and crafts 2 In pursuance of this basic purpose the corporation proposes
to to to to to restore historic buildings and to to to to to move to to to to to or or or construct in in in the King William Area of of the the City of of San Antonio Texas other buildings around which to to pre- serve the the the history of of the the the City of of San Antonio Texas in in general and the the the King Wil- liam Area in particular which such structures not only preserved but made functionally useful in in carrying out the the purpose of the the corporation 3 The corporation shall systematically collect and preserve articles docu- ments pictures books tools of agriculture art home furnishings and other items representing the heritage and culture of home life education religion government and and work (industry) in in order to preserve same and and make them available for study and and and use by by writers and and and others and and and viewing by by the the general public In this regard special attention shall be devoted to the Pioneer-Resi- dents of the King William Area 4 In order to to to disseminate historical and and cultural material and and to to to promote the King William Association and its purposes the corporation shall publish peri- odicals pamphlets and other materials from time time to time time as the the Board of 42 OURKWA ORG OURKWA ORG
