RETRAINED & REMARKABLE CLASSES
The New Vocations Retrained & Remarkable Challenge is an incentive- based program open to all approved adopters. The Challenge is designed to shine a spotlight on horses that may be overlooked. Adopters of Challenge-eligible Thoroughbreds will have the chance to compete in Challenge-specific classes at the 2020 New Vocations All- Thoroughbred Charity Horse Show in Kentucky. R&R adopters who choose to participate in the competition will be eligible to compete for $2,500 in cash and prizes; they will also receive a FREE stall at the horse show and FREE entry into Challenge classes.
Entering into non-Challenge classes is encouraged!

2019 New Vocations All-Thoroughbred Charity Horse Show & T.I.P. Championships
CLASSES OPEN ONLY TO NEW VOCATIONS RETRAINED & REMARKABLE HORSES
Entries: Entry to Retrained & Remarkable classes and horse stall fees are FREE to all Retrained & Remarkable Challenge-eligible Thoroughbreds. Shavings, tack stalls, additional fees and non-Retrained & Remarkable entry fees the responsibility of the exhibitor. Riders encouraged to enter other classes at the New Vocations All- Thoroughbred Charity Horse Show.
Awards: Each class will be awarded ribbons 1st - 6th place. Prizes will be awarded to first and second place. A total of $2,500 in prize money will divided between the seven classes, with payout as follows: 1st - $110; 2nd - $90; 3rd - $60 ; 4th - $45; 5th -$30; 6th - $25.
900. R&R In-Hand - Open to Thoroughbreds adopted through the New Vocations Retrained & Remarkable Challenge. Can be presented in-hand in an English bridle or well-fitted, leather halter. Horses will be asked to walk and trot, and will be judged on conformation and way of going.
901. R&R English Pleasure Walk/Trot - Open to Thoroughbreds adopted through the New Vocations Retrained & Remarkable Challenge. Judged on manners and way of going at the walk and trot in both directions. May be asked to back per judge’s discretion. Riders may not cross-enter into Walk/Trot/Canter or Walk/Jog/Lope classes.
902. R&R English Pleasure Walk/Trot/Canter - Open to Thoroughbreds adopted through the New Vocations Retrained & Remarkable Challenge. Judged on manners and way of going at the walk, trot and canter in both directions. May be asked to back per judge’s discretion. Riders may not cross-enter into Walk/Trot or Walk/Jog classes.
903. R&R Hunter Hack 2’ - Open to Thoroughbreds adopted through the New Vocations Retrained & Remarkable Challenge. In addition to being asked to walk, trot and canter in both directions, horses will be asked to individually jump two jumps set in a line.
Horses will be judged on way of going, jumping style and manners. Fence height 2’.
