 2019 New Vocations All-Thoroughbred Charity Horse Show & T.I.P. Championships
(i.e., using words or actions that intimidate, threaten or persecute others before, during or following New Vocations or The Jockey Club activities); failure to follow rules; and abusing a horse. Reports of inappropriate code of conduct may be made at any time to the Show Manager via email, text, phone call or in-person (330 518 9001). Any verbal or physical act of discourtesy toward a judge, show official, show staff, show volunteer or Kentucky Horse Park staff member on the part of a trainer, owner, rider, handler, groom, family member or person associated with an entry is a violation of the Code of Conduct. Persons found by show management to be in violation of this Code of Conduct will be unable to participate in the remainder of the show, will forfeit all fees and awards from previous classes and divisions, and will be ineligible to show at the T.I.P. Championships.
16. Additional Thoroughbred Awards – To be considered for ANY Thoroughbred award, the Thoroughbred Information Form must be mailed with entry. Awards will be given at the conclusion of the War Horse In-Hand class on Saturday morning in the Stonlea Ring.
17. Back Number REQUIRED to school at all times.
18. All Jumper Stake and Low Jumper Stake competitors must declare intent to participate in the show office by 12 PM on Friday, Sept. 6. A draw for the order of go will take place and riders will be assigned an order, which will be posted in the show office by 4 p.m. on Friday.
19. All Hunter Derby competitors must declare intent to participate in the show office by 12 PM on Saturday, Sept. 7. A draw for the order of go will take place and riders will be assigned an order, which will be posted in the show office by 3 PM on Saturday.
20. All questions not covered in these rules and regulations shall be decided by the show management, whose decision shall be final.
21. All mounted competitors must use the horse paths – do not hack on the road AT ANY TIME. Mounted competitors walking on the road will be ticketed and fined.
22. New Vocations All-Thoroughbred Charity Show champion and high point calculations.
For all divisions other than Dressage:
For Dressage: Champion and Reserve Champion will be based on the best single test per horse/rider combination.
23. Dressage Ride Times & Scratches/Changes/Adds – All scratches, changes and adds must be made by 10:00am the day prior to the class. Provisional ride times will be posted by the Tuesday before the show at www. newvocations.org/kentucky-charity-thoroughbred- show, www.tjctip.com, or emailed if email address is provided. Final ride times for each day will be posted in the show office by 1 p.m. the day before the show day.
24. Hunter/Jumper scratches – All scratches and adds must be made in the horse show office prior to the start of the class or the class fee will be
assessed.
