Additional Information: Mugwaukul was the anglicized name of Mugbagal(currently called Mulbagal) – a place near Kolar, Mysore. The daniells visited this place on 24th April 1792, and made many preliminary drawings and sketches there. One such sketch, which presumable was the basis for this finished painting is presently in the collection of the British Museum (http://www.bl.uk/onlinegallery/onlineex/apac/other/019wdz000000213u00000000.html)
