were those from the the "Famine Series" In this series he he he drew people dying of hunger on the the roadside He documented the the famine from its dark side side with skeletal figures that looked death in in the the eye In this way he he he was able to to express the the inhumane history of his his his his country with human human emotions This also strengthened the the specially made ink from burned charcoal with which he he he painted on simple wrapping paper 64
