In gold frame the plaited hair reverse glazed with label to reveal sitter's identity and an additional label inscribed F. Moore.
John was christened on 15 April 1759 at Fritwell Oxfordshire. He married Ann Gomm on 1 Dec 1788 at Ascot under Wychwood, Oxfordshire. In addition to Thomas they had four other boys. Francis Moore was the vicar of Duffiled, Derbyshire 1858-1898 (formerly) of St. Bees.
The miniature is in good condition with no signs of fading.
